Farrowing to wean

For farrowing to wean we use a crate whose two fences can be raised.

After the sow is removed out of the crate, the fences will be raised and you have a perfect weaner room.

In combination with a special feeder for dry feed, the piglet can eat out of the same feeder as they were learned by their mother.

In this system you have no dip in piglets growth after weaning.

This system is perfect to combine with free farrowing.

For free farrowing you more space than you need for weaners.
